General discussion:
Part of our charge is to implement actions.
Diana discussed UW partnering with OCLC on 3rd party pilot project regarding OCLC sharing control numbers with 3rd party vendors. UW won't be moving forward on general duplicate reduction solutions until OCLC# issue is solved.
Recommend to OCLC: get them to decide to give control numbers to 3rd party vendors.
INN-Reach doesn't have authority control. Faceted searching shows up cataloging problems.
Duplicate reduction shouldn't trump patron access.
ERM enhancement request should (not?) require library to have minimal intervention. [FKV: I don't think I got the whole context of this note]
Tom reports he's leaving early for Online NW and won't be available 2/15.
