Should make sure that.

Much scripted software isn't distributed in binary form, so the GPL doesn't protect it.
Someone could take the software, modify, make money off of it. Do we care?

LF is GPL 2 or 3

Policies should be flexible, but some licensing must be off limit. Or at least say all that are ok - or some guidelines/summarizing so that licensing is ok.

What is our policy on smaller scripts? Do we need licensing on these?

Academics should not be heavily licensed?

Could someone license our own code and then use it against us?
