Accomplishments

Applied for a Center for Teaching and Learning grant for support to develop assessment tools. The group was not awarded the grant, but encouraged to re-apply in the fall.

Instigated discussion with LFA and P&T committees about updating teaching evaluation form

Created two for-credit internship positions (yet to be filled)

Anne-Marie spoke at a WIC lunch on Web 2.0 and also gave a CTL workshop on Google Scholar

Created research tutorial taskforce

WR 121--Anne-Marie a& Kate Y. worked on revision of the Inforrmation Literacy Portfolio and library session curriculum

Invited Brian Miyagishima and Bob Hautala to give a workshop on dynamic systems theory and information literacy instruction

Hannah created prototypes of assessment tools

Goals for 2007-2008

Support ULLIA in delivering WR 121

Research Tutorial updated

Learning Objects: XX more

Pilot short workshops on a particular topic (3 or so per term)  Fall Term: RSS,  EndNote Web and Flickr

Support Grad Student Services Group to deliver:  Graduate Student Literature Review Seminars, Research Assignments that Work

Deliver CTL Workshop on Web 2.0 technologies in teaching and learning

Train librarians to use clickers in classes

New Robotel hardware in classrooms: investigate options and made recommendation; now awaiting new product development

Revisit Classroom Assessment Techniques  (scheduling training for RCIS in Fall)
